      The Importance of Intention

Have you ever sat with your instrument and tried to play healing music while
contemplating your dinner menu? Playing doesn't sound too good does it?! How about if
you take a deep breath, focus your mind on love, healing love ....moving from your heart
to your hands to your strings? Ah, yes....that mind and heart connection!  I re-read Sound
Healer, Jonathan Goldman's books and his proven formula of frequency + intent =
healing at times when I feel that the sounds my instruments and I are producing just don't flow as they did the day or week before. More to come on this topic for certain. Until then,
a fun exercise is while walking, write down the sounds you hear and then categorize them as "pleasant" and "not so pleasant" and why the sound fell into a specific ranking.  Was it too loud, or did it remind you of a time in your past or some other reason for its placement in a specific category?
